Tid Bit Tuesday – Fat Tuesday!

It Tuesday…so that means another Tid Bit Tuesday! Today is Fat Tuesday!

So what exactly does that mean? Fat Tuesday is the traditional name for the day before Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. It is more commonly known as Mardi Gras, which is simply Fat Tuesday in French.

So I was trying to think of ideas to go along with the Mardi Gras theme…and when I think of Mardi Gras I think of New Orleans…and what better idea then to showcase some good old creole dishes…

And now for something sweet… Beignets from Pure Wow!

So I hope you enjoyed this weeks Tid Bit Tuesday! Come back next week and see what’s next!

  1. Thank you SO much for sharing these New Orleans/Creole dishes. I followed your links to each of the blogs, took a look at these fabulous recipes and pinned their images to Pinterest. I am now craving all three of these scrumptious dishes. 🙂

  2. I have to say I am SO happy I found your post today. I am originally from East Texas but currently living in Germany. I need all of this in my life, especially those Beignets. I miss all of that cajun cooking so much!

I would love to hear from you!
